Anybody know if there Is there one or do I need to save them for the next chapter?Ĭlick on the fountain by the girl who sells magic stuff and you can go back to the main temple, there you can go to one of the other towns who has one of the card guys. We're supposed to trade them in for rewards but I haven't been able to find a card vendor in Grove. They also have Fate cards that we pick up randomly in dungeons. 1 Jims9350 1:15pm Originally posted by Odyessy: Nope. You can also import your character from previous games, but all of the new stuff makes me glad I started new. New pets & enemies, which means more things to turn your pet into. Classic 'defend' strongboxes that spawn enemies. the original Fate are more races to choose from that also start you stronger than the original. I still enjoy it, though.Īnyway, some of the main differences I've seen in this vs. Baldree left Wildtangent to make Torchlight after creating Fate so WT is just milking the franchise to death. Plus torchlight franchise doesnt get the style points fate gets since its just a reskinned version of the original with much more linear progression. You also certainly can't beat the price, especially now as it's on sale. I've personally been playing FATE for years, and I think The Traitor Soul is a superb game. WildTangent have done a great job porting it to Steam, and there's so much to do here that I doubt you'll ever complete it all! Additionally, you can still go back to the previous two games' realms right from the start, which you used to have to unlock by editing a file. Of course, The Traitor Soul also includes two new realms, with new dungeons and new menaces. The Traitor Soul allows for more character customisation including different races, and it also expands animal companion selection! As well as this, there is a great deal new in terms of items and magic. Three sequelstitled Fate: Undiscovered Realms, Fate: The Traitor Soul and Fate: The Cursed King were released in 2008, 20 respectively. Fate was released for the PC Steam client on December 12, 2013. There are numerous features that were not in Torchlight that make it, to me, a weaker game. Fate is a 2005 single-player action role-playing game originally released for the PC by WildTangent.
